Criteo accepts product feeds in two different formats:
CSV (Comma separated value)
A CSV file is a plain text file with records divided into fields and separated by delimiters. The CSV file should contain the list of products available on your website.
The first line of your CSV file needs to be the header. This is the line that contains the name of the columns (in lower case). The values can be separated in one of four ways:
- Pipe ( | )
- Comma ( , )
- Semicolon ( ; )
You can find out more about Criteo feed specifications here.
XML (Extensible markup language)
Each main node of an XML file must be one product. Each subnode will have the attribute of the product.
To make sure the structure is acceptable, test your XML here: http://www.xmlvalidation.com/.
