What file types does Criteo accept?

Criteo accepts product feeds in two different formats:

  • CSV
  • XML

CSV (Comma separated value)

A CSV file is plain text file with records divided into fields, separated by delimiters, and should contains the list of products available on your website.

The first line of your CSV needs to be the header. This is the line that contains the name of the columns (in lower case). The values can be separated in one of four ways:

  1. Pipe ( | )
  2. Comma ( , )
  3. Tab
  4. Semicolon ( ; )

You can find out more about Criteo feed specifications here.

XML (Extensible mark-up language)

Each main node of an xml file must be one product. Each subnode will have the attribute of the product.

To make sure the structure is acceptable, test your xml here: http://www.xmlvalidation.com/
