When creating a coupon, you can set it up to run permanently, or to begin and end at specific times. Scheduled start and end dates are best suited to limited time promotions or messages, while permanent coupons are best suited to long-term campaign messages.
You can change the scheduling of existing coupons within your campaigns. Clicking on the gear symbol next to the coupon end date in the Live tab will bring up the options available to you:
- Reschedule coupon: change a future start and/or end date. For example, you can push a coupon end date back because you’re extending a promotion.
- Cancel coupon: Stop the coupon immediately. Once this option is selected, the coupon will no longer show in the Live tab.
If you have a permanent coupon running on a campaign, this will be displaced by a scheduled coupon on the same campaign, which takes priority from its start date until its end date. (See Coupon Priorities)
