Confirm your Criteo tags are working

Overview

The Criteo OneTag is placed on each page on your website in order to pass data to Criteo. Ensuring that your tags are setup properly will directly impact the performance of your campaigns.

In this article you’ll learn how you can check that your Criteo OneTag is working properly and fix issues quickly.

Check that your Criteo OneTag is working

On the Tag Events page, you can monitor and identify pontential issues. Here, you'll have an overview of the current status of the Criteo OneTag on each page of your website.

Determine when an issue has occurred

If your tags are not working properly, you can use the graphs on the Tag Events page to see when the issue occurred and for how long.

In this example, you’ll see that the homepage tag stopped passing data to Criteo in June: 

 

Once you've identified there's an issue with your tags, you can use the Tag Validation dashboard to troubleshoot errors. The person who manages your website can use this dashboard to find a solution and make these changes.
